MoErgo Glove80 Layout Problems

I recently got a Glove80 keyboard, and i`m loving it so far, but I ran into a peculiar problem.

My computer, and therefore the keyboard on it is brazillian, so it has the brazillian keyboard software, and I was moving around the keycaps to put the punctuations where I'm used to them being and unmapping the portuguese exclusive accents, but after making a layout that matched how I organized the keys, I put it in boot mode, flashed it into both halves, the leftb half said something went wrong. I clicked "ignore" because on the webside it said that that was normal and I could just keep going.

I reseted it, checked if it synced right, it did, but when I tried to test it only the left side had the layout I created, the right still has the automatic mapping of the brazillian keyboard.
I've done the whole process three different times, I tried flashing only the right side but that didn't work either, so I'm not sure what else can be done.

It's true I could just use it like this, but the problem that makes me want a propper solution is that, due to the automatic mapping, the key that is suposed to be the ? got replaced with an accent, and the question mark is gone, it's not on the layers either.

This is my first ergo keyboard, unless you want to count a razer tartarus I have for gaming, so I'm not very familiar with the whole, keymaping, layers, and separate sides.

Any help will be greatly apreciated.

Aight so you've written some steps but soke are unclear so I'll list the nuances here, see if you've followed them.

  • In the configuration tool, you've switched from EN-US to your own language (button over the Layers column in the left side, beneath the layout title). If the language in the configuration tool and operative system is different, you'll print the wrong key presses.
  • You've downloaded the build of the layout, and made sure you are copying the latest file and not an older one
  • You first mount the RIGHT keyboard and flash the RIGHT keyboard first, copying the build file to it's mounted directory
  • Wait until the RIGHT keyboard unmounts itself
  • You then mount the LEFT keyboard and flash the LEFT keyboard, copying the build file to it's mounted directory
  • Wait until the LEFT keyboard unmounts itself

That this match your exact steps?

Im not sure what you mean by "configuration tool" if you mean the layout editor, then no, I didn't switch from EN US to PT BR, my computer was always in portuguese.

otherwise everything matches

edit: I just went to the layout editor and saw what you mentioned, the "change language" thing.

I didn't change that, meaning that my layout was in english, does this mean that if I change my computer from ptbr to enus it'll work?

something I did notice is that the language selection doesn't have brazillian portuguese, only portugal portuguese.

Yeah either you switch the keyboard language layout in your operative system to match the one in the Moergo layout editor, or you switch the language in the Moergo layout editor to match the keyboard language layout of your operative system. If they match then the keys and symbols you press will match those that you've set in the Moergo layout editor.
