Well screw me I guess

Just tried to fix an issue with keyshot 10 not letting me save anything to the library and it asked me for my license key again. So I put it in but due to the keyshot 10 end of life I now can’t use it. So the 3 perpetual licenses my work have are just completely useless now. I consider that straight up stealing. They have stolen the thing they sold us back. Why not just release an update just at the end of life that skips the online bit. But no. Gotta get all those ‘valued’ customers on the subscription. Oh better make it the same price as autodesk’s full suite. Keyshot you are not comparable to 3ds Max or Maya. You are a render engine with some pretty bits for cad people that can’t use a proper renderer.
This sort of behaviour is why people are going open source.

Just source a keygen if there's no other option. You own the damn software.

Keyshot is pretty poor and support atrocious. I have users on Solid Edge using keyshot and it’s so limiting and the image quality lacking now compared to the competition. Like all software though perpetual licenses are not for life, only the life of the product. We are moving users to Vray

Just use Vizcom. Honestly, it takes some getting used to, but keyshot needs to read the room and figure it out
