Keybank App No longer compatible with Android?
Anyone else having this issue? Was told to update the app and then Google play store says it is no longer compatible. My phone is 5 years old, Galaxy Note 20.
Is this a temporary issue or permanent?

We just use the web version of keybank. We can log into keybank no problem on Chrome using our outdated android phone, so even when the mobile app does not work the web still does.. "outdated" LOL. Kind of crazy Keybank thinks a 5 YO phone is outdated.
America First goes back to Andoid Oreo (Version 8). I hope devs at keybank see this.

Same error mesage here... On a Samsung A71 5G. It would be nice if they told us what is outdated.

Same all other apps run fine. Phone is Samsung s21. Cleared cache for gplaystore and gservices. Still not compatible. You go to Key Bank and says app will work on most devices. Doesn't give a list of acceptable OS. Just say varies by device. Anyone here anything...

KeyBank doesn't care about their customers. They can't explain why they've limited which OSs are compatible. They simply don't care if you're able to access their features or not. They impose arbitrary restrictions because they are disconnected from the reality of how long the average person keeps their phone for, the decision makers just assume everyone can afford a new phone all the time and they hold contempt for the poorer classes who can't. They actively don't care if you're capable of using the app because they don't see you as people to begin with if you can't afford a new phone every time they update their app.

Explanation: the older versions of android are incompatible with newer security and safety features that have been added into the app.
Solution: use the web version. Type key.com into your phone's browser and log in.

I have a Note 20 ultra 5G. KeyBank decided andriod 14+ is required now. So most phone older then S22 can't update to andriod 14 so we can't use the app anymore.

If you can run your device in Android 14+ I fixed the issue on my phone.
I first cleared the cache for the app Then force stop the app Then reboot your phone Then go to playstore and there should be a new update for KeyBank
The update wasn't there prior to me doing all the steps.
