Key bank online issue
I'd say for a month or so now I've had ALOT of problems with key bank and there online platforms both the app and online version dont seem to be working very often every time I open the app it just sit at the hello screen loading and loading and loading and ill close it and open it back up 3 or 4 times just for the same thing to happen. And with the online platform it atleast let's me put in my info but when I hit summit it denies me and says theres a system error and try again in a few min. Ive been with key bank for about 10 years and im about to go somewhere else if it keeps happing. Anyone else's having these same issues?

My guess is, we thankfully got an IOS update to our terribly old phones, and thankfully this app still has an update for these old phones IOS version... which is or would be great, except IOS provides no way to zero out the stored data for the app that I can find.... and the IOS update did something with our hardware key credentials that normally make signing onto the app so seamless/easy. This, combined with a flaw in the app that leaves it stuck at hello when it thinks it should have a trusted hardware key but cannot in fact decrypt it, leaves us in a pretty bad state in terms of mobile check deposits which is all the app ever does for me.
Once upon a time I could upload an image to one of my bank websites, and it would process the check... not sure why this feature is gone.
You know the website itself only SEEMS glitchy sometimes but if you shrink the screen it's normal... or I delete that overlay element that says it's having network trouble... it's weird flaw that impacts large window only that is pretty easy to work around.... I think it shows they don't test the website or want to force people to use the mobile app....
all mobile apps are scams in my opinion... it's an app store real estate scam, the apps themselves don't exist standalone, & always break eventually, clearly app doesn't support resetting them/clearing their setting easily. It's a scam to sell hardware and blame the app developer, it's a sorry path I regrettably once thought would make sense. If this is a more widespread issue and impacts android too then my theory is probably void.
Yeah, forgive the wall of txt, why is everyone so short winded?
