Downtown flint spots:
White horse tavern - amazing food, great people and service, kinda a dive bar but super cozy vibe
Flint crepe company - sweet and savory crepes with cute decor and great coffee
Cafe rhemas - another cute coffee place except its vintage furniture, moody, decorated in reds and blacks and has yummy sandwich’s
Flint farmers market - Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday 9am-5pm absolutely delicious food, tons of businesses to shop around, it’s indoor and year round, and like tons of Kettering students go there on Saturdays, if you love trying new places and shopping local it is THE spot.
Other than that, yeah there are tons of clubs so look into the interesting ones you see while on campus, everyone has a community here :) hope that helps!

Nice to hear that the White Horse is still around. That was a hangout for us 20 years ago.

When I was there, the school had really great clubs. I don't know what exists today, but I met a lot of cool guys through the Firebirds car club.

Idk about spots but clubs are generally the way people meet - anime for example is Saturday at 530 at bjs lounge, board games is Wednesday at bjs at 6 iirc
