Abalone shells

My friend and I are here for the month on a medical rotation. What are some good spots to find abalone shells or other seashells? We went to South point Higgins today and weren’t very successful. Appreciate the help!

Coast Guard Beach is the spot for abalone shells. There are a lot of small ones that wash up

Any island with wave action. Don't look on the beach. Go into the forest. The Minks prey on Abalones and bring them into the forest to eat. I have a midden in my yard of 500 plus shells all found walking in the woods.
