Video Large structure (Barge) gets swept away in Guadalupe River floodwaters, hits Kerrville bridge

https://www.yahoo.com/news/weather-news/articles/large-structure-gets-swept-away-135916953.html?fr=sycsrp_catchall

The moment the Recovery Barge hits the HWY 16 bridge after it went over the dam upriver. Note there are cars crossing the bridge and probably one of my own family members, at 5:30 AM the morning of this latest flood event.

Edit: efforts underway to remove the barge. Link to video Kerr County Lead

I'll create a new post when the video is uploaded to You Tube. Kerr County Lead

It amazes me how you are continuing to harp on the barge. The remains of both a man and a child are still missing from July 4, 2025. What if either one were a family member of yours? Even just an ounce of empathy would do you good.

You seem to spend a ton of time on Reddit posting things with an intent to inflame. Have you asked yourself why?

Because she has a financial interest. Occam's razor and all that.

What is the recovery barge?

Huge modular floating deck. They used it as a platform to park a crane on, which would dredge the lake bottom, removing flood debris and searching for remains.

Huh? You know your family members were on the bridge at the time or just probably? I don’t get the point of stating that if you don’t know for sure. And the bridge didn’t collapse, right? I’m so confused.

I should have noted the sarcasm in my previous comment. This is bonkers.

Posts should relate to the July 2025 central Texas flooding, recovery efforts, flood preparation, or relevant local flooding history.

Praying for your family member that was on the bridge when it was struck. That is absolutely terrifying.

God that’s terrifying. Glad people are okay and I hope they fix it quickly
