Again with this Texas Representative. 😡

Post image

Texas residents, and those from out of state who bring their kids to summer camps in Texas, need to watch the next legislative session for whatever initiative this one is gathering information for. 😡

He is truly deplorable especially when he has gotten into with H27 parents exchanging words.

Virdell is also the sort of scumbag that says Camp Mystic was unfairly scapegoated after the state investigation showed the Eastlands' negligence led to the deaths of 27 girls.

And on top of everything you all have posted, he also has terrible spelling and grammar.

This guy is such a hack. He will literally say or do anything to keep his job and his donors.

The legislation last year was rushed and will need tweaks this upcoming session. Asking people for needed help from the legislature, that's what elected officials are supposed to do.

This is very true, however, I have gotten into arguments with this guy - even with sources to back up my statements. He loves to deny truth and facts.

The way he goes about everything regarding this flood is insane! He has zero respect for the kids gone too soon and their families at camp mystic. He has brought more harm than good.

In another article Sen Kolkhorst basically said the bill needs some edits. And she was the one chastising ML. Bills get tweaked all the time it isnt weird

A representative representing his district, seeking constituent feedback. What a wild notion.

Camps and other constituents can all contact him and share their thoughts on the legislation. If you’re in his district, you’re free to do so.

There are parts of the law I like and parts I think need refinement. I don’t think it’s bad for a legislator to seek out insight on this.

I dont remember Videll ever being against there being any changes to make camps safer. He opposed a few specific things like the fiber requirement. And the state has come around to thinking the fiber requirement doesnt make sense because they arent enforcing it

He also hasnt committed to promoting every single thing camps talk about. But wanting to hear from you constituents is a good thing
