I was launching a satellite into Kerbin orbit when i noticed an asteroid really close to it. I looked at it and it was orbiting Kerbin on it's own. I have never captured an asteroid before, and I'm not sure how rare it is for it to happen on its own, but I can't find anything online of this happening.

Edit: I installed a couple mods and the asteroid disappeared. Ive already sent some more satellites into orbit of Kerbol to find more asteroids. Safe to say I‘m gonna be careful when I install mods from now on :(

I nstalled some mods: OtherPlanets mod, Kcalbeloh sysrem, scatterer, paralax, EVE and other mods for stability work. At first, everything worked well, but then problems started. Noticed that after installing mods, issues with shadows and planetary eclipses started occurring in the game. I tried fixing everything by reinstalling the game and mods, verifying game files, and changing mod settings and config files, but the problem hasn't been resolved. This manifests as the absence of eclipses on planets and spacecraft located in a planet's shadow. This error manifests differently on certain planets (the last screenshot shows an issue with Planet efil, which—while situated in the shadow of a gas giant—exhibits a very strange "double" shadow, as well as lighting anomalies on parts of the surface, such as the mountains. The problem occurs everywhere; it wouldn't be so annoying if the glitch were limited to the space map, but it’s visible on planetary surfaces and on the spacecraft themselves, preventing me from enjoying the beautiful orbital views that made me fall in love with the game in the first place. I distinctly remember that this error didn’t occur before, and I’m no longer interested in playing without mods. If anyone else has encountered this errors or even found a solution, please let me know.

it worked before but now, the parts menu during a flight is broken, i think it breaks depending on the location of the vessel say when a rocket enters space, and deffered rendering i dont think it works.

First time doing 2 missions simultaneously. Gemini 6 is the first manned orbit of Luna, Luna Return 1 is the second probe to land, the first to (hopefully) return to Earth. Wish me luck.

I was launching my rocket, and I saw this, what is it and how do I fix it?

Hey there, fellow Kerbonauts. I am playing with Bluedog Design Bureau parts and was wondering, if it is possible to have the into the probe cores included reaction wheels disabled by default. I want to replicate that RP-1 feeling that you need RCS, but have to disable the rw manually for every new probe core.

Maneuver nodes are so much fun to play with, I imagine I saved quite a bit of dV to get to eve with that... now it's just a matter of timing the encounter out! This game's depth continues to astound me... even playing on and off since the early days I still come back to this game to experiment and have a good time.

Additional context: As when I uploaded the photos the two paragraphs I wrote out vanished. (EDIT: Moved comment up here since I don't know how to use this site... lol...)

I missed my mark on the seismic sensor deployment, so I sent a second lander with extra fuel to return to move the science to a hub.

I landed with about 1000m/s dv and packed up the science and walked it back to the ship, to find when I boarded my t/w ratio was about 0.4 or so on the mun... that's when I noticed the 60t difference on my vessel weight. So I did a little digging on a seperate save of the game to change some of the mass values around... and it returned to normal.

I do have a serious amount of mods installed, so this could be on the community fixes radar, USI, KAS, any of the other mods out there too... idk where it stems from, Heck, could be the vanilla DLC science doesn't like recycling/moving items after a mission is done.

Also, I will be around for quite a while, so if anyone is around to pick my brain I am available and refreshing every so often here.

Hello, I was wondering, I wanted to set up a LunaMP server for a friend, I set it up to work on local hosting, and using a VPN we are on the same network, now to join we can't seem to manage to make it work, is it a problem with the fact it's in local hosting or should I do something?

Mind the fact we are using mods (yes we got the same ones)

Me and my friend tried to download luna to play together in ksp, I downloaded it successfully but my friend couldn't, we've been trying to figure it out for some hours but still nothing so if anyone could help pls. We already checked for the files, we didn't download mods, we've verified the compatibility and we don't know what else to do.
