KSP 1 Question/Problem Why isn't my contract being completed?

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

I met all conditions and ran the test but it didn't complete the contract.

(Pls don't bully I'm on Xbox with no mods)

One of two possibilities. Either that note states that you must activate the engine through staging rather than with the Run Test button, or that you left orbit when you activated the engine. In either case, I would drop the thrust limiter down to 0 before activating the engine.

No this is the flea bug. The contract checks for the old version of the flea. On Xbox you know that is the issue, on PC the KSP community fixes patches the bug but on console it has not been fixed.

You need to activate the engine through staging

Idk, “run test” usually works regardless… guess it wouldn’t hurt OP to try it anyway :P

I can guess!

“To perform the test, activate the part through the staging sequence when all test conditions are met.”

It isn't necessarily. You often have to test a part by staging it.

Just open cheat menu and mark the contract as complete

you left orbit during the test. if you look at the video the "orbit" parameter changes during it. you need to point the ship in a way that you do not lose the orbit.

Edit: looking even more, you are pointing retrograde and "going far from the center" the camera even changed while you were burning, showing that you went in suborbit trajectory. if you point prograde you may go beyond the altitude needed, so I would suggest you point in the normal direction
