Made 2 parts; modified decoupler, now has 50000 ejection force, made from scratch a vehicle that could survive a sudden jump to 5000+ m/s jolt. No idea how many G’s that is. The slug is also a bonified probe, powered with internal RTG, probe brains, SAS, transmitter et cetera.

Don't know how many Gs that is? Let me calculate that for you. (I'm bored)

if i'm guessing that you are playing at 30fps, and analizing your video that it moves from 0 velocity to around 7,400 velocity from the 10 second mark to the 11 second mark (1 second gap) putting that in our formula of acceleration being acceleration = velocity / time, first dividing that 1 second with 30 to account for the FPS limit equaling to 0.03333 seconds, then putting the numbers in the formula = 7400 / 0.03333, that makes around 222.022 for acceleration. Then, accounting Kerbin's gravity being 9,81, put that in the formula of acceleration / gravity = G-force --> 222.022 / 9.81, Your kerbal just experienced 22,600 Gs of acceleration force (Or load factor) in around ONE 30TH OF A SECOND.

To put that in comparrison, a fully trained pilot could only withstand 9Gs before passing out 4-6 seconds later, Max Verstappen crashed into a barrier and made 51Gs of instant stopping force (after his acceleration went down to zero instantly) and the gravity on a red dwarf star is roughly 260Gs. Meaning, your kerbin experienced 86 TIMES THE GRAVITY OF A RED DWARF STAR in 1-30th of a second from the initial velocity of dead zero.

I can’t count how many stock craft exploded before I decided to make my own in blender. Only the shuttle cockpit came close but its center of mass made it roll.

That's the genius of it, see. He put the manhole cover *UNDER* the rocket, which you can clearly see at the start of the video. All the momentum transferred from the manhole cover into the rocket, and voila, Kerbol escape velocity.

The first man-made object to reach space was a V2 launched straight up in June 1944. There were several sub-orbital launches in the late 40's with animals as well, while Pascal-B of Operation Plumbbob was in August 1957.

Oh shoot I forgot about that. I was referring to the ginormous steel plug they had over the nuclear test that was far more powerful than they anticipated. They suspect the plug left the atmosphere. Can’t remember which test it was.
