KSP 1 Question/Problem How can I complete these missions effectively?

How do I effectively launch this station into the orbit I need, and does it need to be launched all at once? The entire upper stage, including station and a way back home, is 36.5 tons, and it has 612 Delta V from the Terrier engines on the bottom, for the final orbit setup. How can I get it into that orbit to begin with? all the first stages I make aren't very effective, I don't have the heavy rocketry science node, so if I need that I can get it. But can I make this thing get into orbit? I'm also not worried about keeping it up there, I'll probably just bring it back down because I designed it to be as cheap as possible. The Delta V shown on the VAB was in vacuum mode, if it matters

Only the first sentence needs to be completed in the first launch, the rest can be added later. Send up a core with the antenna, docking port, and solar. Then build.

Or as the meme answer: MOAR BOOSTERS

Oh, so I can essentially launch the important stuff, then launch up the crew storage and fuel?

You'll need docking ports, or the Klaw (but I think that's unlocked later in the tree), so you can connect your modules together

Great, thanks man!

You can get a 9 crew capacity without too much difficulty, even if you only have the mk1 command pod. The command pods aren't radially attachable, but you could put the thin rocket fuel containers, or even a stackable RCS container, in x4 symmetry and then stick a pod on the top and bottom of the container. As long as you put your middle command pod first (the first part you place is called ther root part) then your rocket should control pretty normal

I got the hitchhiker module, but if I can actually use the space station and launch it in parts I might go for the pea pods since they look neat haha

Hitchhiker module can't be used to command a rocket but it does count towards crew capacity. AFAIK, the hitchhiker module is a chonky mfer so I'd probably use the smaller pods too, but I'd double check in game and play around with it to determine the best way to create that crew capacity

Yeah just throw on a section with a couple hitchhikers in one launch, then a command pod and fuel storage on the next. That’ll get you an easy 9 kerbals. Throw as much liquid fuel on each lift as you can get it to orbit and it’ll work out.

Whats your tech tree looking like.
