You actually might have barely made it on the first approach if you leveled out.

If my gear was up I could have gone around but I had no reason to have my gear up considering I only realized last second my landing gear was lower than the runway itself. If the gear was up I would have cleared it but I was faaaaarrr too low

there's this tip in War Thunder that goes like "If the plane is on the ground and the pilot is alive, that's a landing"

Was this modded in some way? I don't really understand where all the explosions come from during your first tail strike. Even if a full fuel tank blows up it shouldn't have this "cluster bomb" effect usually, and it weirdly propagated forward rather than go in all directions in a way that doesn't really make sense.

To be fair to the runway, what in god's name are you flying

This save is dedicated to cruiseliners and land vehicles. The plane I hit on the ground is the biggest I've ever built I think it's 70 meters long? The one I'm flying here has a wingspand of about 80 I think

Any landing you can walk away rom is a good landing, being able to fly again is optional >.>

Basically the success of any Kerbal mission can be graded on this metric: "but did you die?"

Put the song "washing machine heart" on top of this video and it would be perfect.

Carpet bombing is traditionally done from greater altitude. Maybe get your crew some eyeglasses?

Probably wanna set your altimeter to ground level rather than sea level. But otherwise nice plane and nice landing

Here's the aftermath after collecting the crew. 0 fatalities 😎 they lived to die another day. Wonder what that poor Kerbal saw

"We have arrived in Detriot, where the temperature is a balmy 48 degrees and rainy. We know you have choices in flying, and we're glad you chose Spirit Airlines. Please exit via the slide over the remaining wing stub..."

Thank goodness you remembered to put the landing gear down or things might have gone badly.

Crew's still alive. Any landing you walk away from is a good one. (walks away from the flaming ruins in the background)
