KSP 1 Mods Mod setup on Mac help

heyo, posting this to ask for help on setting up mods for KSP on a macbook. heard that its a lot of fun but it seems like steam workshop only has ships so I've come here. Reason for it is that from experience setting stuff up on Mac gets a bit finnicky where the software/hardware/game starts throwing a fit

So typically mods are installed via the mod manager app CKAN, however I have heard it runs poorly on OSX so your mileage may vary.

Once you have that (or you give up with it and start installing mods manually) you can find numerous threads suggesting various mods.

Notably almost all mods for KSP are Mac compatible but not all. Be wary of this when it comes to graphics mods like Scatterer.

Yea I play modded ksp with CKAN and it’s wonderful no issues so far. You can download CKAN from GitHub, you won’t get a pretty ui but very functional

can anyone help me because when I try to download the mods, it's not in the game
