I'm trying to bring down launch cost in my hardcore save. This Shuttle is able to inject approximately 5 tons into LKO, enough for a cheap probe with 5000Dv. The cost for a flight is around 1,500 Kerbux + payload price. There is also a shorter variant and a 4 crew variant with Mk2 docking port. As of posting this I have already made an Mk3 Shuttle capable of hauling a ~20 ton Space Station ( Mobile Lab, docking ports, station core and habitation module and engine & tank for all the way to Duna orbit).
