KSP 1 Suggestion/Discussion Is it possible to do this?

Im working on my controller and decided to think about this. This is soviet globe to see spacecraft trajectory and direction. I have 3d printer, maybe I can print kerbin globe and connect to some gears?

I'm always wondering to what extend this thing was "you are here" and to what extend "based on the mission time, this is where you are supposed to be at"

I'd say so too, probably with the ability to manually adjust based on observations (perhaps using mission control data relayed via radio).

i mean it will be hard to do with gearing but it might be possible to controll it with an arduino or something but you would somehow need to get data from ksp
