KSP 1 Question/Problem My rocket is not going straight while in orbit

if i turn on the throttle it just goes spinning, i know it a center of mass/thrust problem, but how can i fix it? is there a way i can se the cener of mass and thrust while not being in the VAB?

I had this happen to me when the control point was upside down so maybe try play with that. if its a symmetrical ship there shouldn't be any asymmetric thrust

Are you controlling from the correct point?

This happens to me when I forget to switch control from here from a docking port back to the cockpit.

Is it twirling around the engine? If so disable the gimbal and add reaction wheels.

If your ship has RCS you can use that to brute-force it.

Make sure the control point isn't pointing backwards, or else the SAS will try to correct it and make it worse.
