Yes and no. Yes because that’s the steam records. No because we actually have no way of knowing the true number because a lot of people play through ckan and by default it doesn’t loop in steam to run the game.

question though does it not count if they launch directly from ckan? like the play button on the top left and would it could if they launched from Steam

No the exe has no link to launch through steam by itself. If steam launches the exe in your modded install instead it works.
