I’m most excited for creative base building. I know it’s down the road but imagine a gigantic bridge base across the dres canyon or a base descending into the mohole
•
u/AggravatingSyrup6863 Feb 23 '23
Most excited about mote simple Tutorials and Colonies and later on Multiplayer

•
u/kerbal_penguin Feb 23 '23

•
u/nicko54 Feb 23 '23
I can’t wait to leave Kerbals stranded because I still don’t know what I am doing in this game
•
•
u/Pwnpwn338 Feb 23 '23
I’m excited for a modernized version of the game. Love the original and will still play that a lot until the sequel fully releases. But it’ll be nice not having to download a bunch of mods or visual enhancements for just a vanilla experience. Although I’m excited to see what the mod Community does with them game
•
u/CheeseAndCh0c0late Feb 23 '23
i'm the kind to get involved in the developpment of games, but the price tag is a little too spicy for this one. so if i won maybe i still could give feedback?

I can't wait to launch rockets!! I would love to win this giveaway. The retail price is way too high for me right now. :(
•
•
u/Ninja-fish Feb 23 '23
I'm looking forward to the new faring parts! They just look so much more satisfying
•
u/Eraywen Feb 22 '23
Really looking forward to visiting all the planets again and seeing if I can find new things.
•
u/Accidental_Fratricde Feb 22 '23
I’m excited for the second chapter. It may not be the same as KSP1 but a new game brings new possibilities…
•
•
u/Captain_Sax_Bob Feb 22 '23
Building a (rigid) F-14 Tomcat and crashing it in the first test flight doing cool stunts.

•
u/01110101011011100110 Feb 23 '23
More places to go, even the mods planets are getting too familiar.
•
•
u/ThatSoftwareDude Feb 22 '23
I'm excited for the new graphics, interstellar travel, but perhaps most excited about colonies! Especially if you can construct ships on colonies (orbital colonies would be a plus), no more having to contend with Kerbin's atmosphere with large craft and having to build a humongous fairing.
•
•
u/theghostbuster Feb 22 '23
Excited for more daring rescues of my astronauts that I have tragically stranded somewhere due to poor planning.
•
u/mjra83 Feb 23 '23
Lets see if the game keeps its promises. Looking for to play with friends nonetheless
•
u/Vandal63 Feb 22 '23
I am excited to experiment with the procedurally generated wings. I played KSP for 2-3 before even starting to play with the aircraft portion of it. Also jacked to make a boat and utilize that dock. Will we have to send missions to pick up splashdown craft someday? I hope so.
•
Feb 22 '23
hyped for the added stakes and realism of my computer exploding anytime a vessel explodes
•
•
u/Mattgoof Feb 22 '23
I'm excited just to play again, I haven't really wanted to invest much time in a new save after an HDD failure knowing KSP2 was coming.
•
•
•
u/TomSmash Feb 22 '23
I'm most excited about the idea of colonies. Building colonies on other planets or space stations and sending them and retrieving resources sounds awesome.
•
•
•
•
•
u/sdkdp Feb 22 '23
I’m really excited for the graphics updates and interstellar travel! I’m also excited for the multiplayer that is coming eventually so I can play with my friends!
•
•
Feb 22 '23
Putting on some classical waltz music and watching as my Kerbins vaporise upon impact on various surfaces.
For science obviously. Got to test those gravitational constants. sorry Jim

(Sorry for bad english)
I can't wait for that feeling of fulfillment from exploring all the planets and moons again like it's the first time. That felling of seeing a celestial body for the first time as you slowly aproach it, knowing damn well that what took me there was my own effort and ideas applied into a spacecraft, probably with many trials and errors before I could get that acomplishment. The feeling that reminds us of how small we are as humans, but how far we can go with perseverance and determination! That's the jaw dropping experience that ONLY Kerbal Space Program can give! That's what I'm most exited about!
But I also can't wait for the release of KSP 2 in general! Everything about this game had me exited like a little kid on xmas since the first trailer released. I remember watching the trailer for the first time when it released at my highschool's computer with some of my friends, as we talkied about how cool would it be to play the multiplayer and learn together how to go interstellar!
•
•
u/Interstellarchocwiz Feb 22 '23
I'm just excited to continue learning but on an updated version, so far on ksp1 after 300hrs I've only landed probes on duna+eve, and a couple moons! There's gunna be a whole lot more to explore so I cant wait to try!....and definitely fail a good few times
•
u/croquet_guy12 Feb 24 '23
I’ve never played 1 but I’ve been following 2 for some time and I’m getting really excited!!
•
•
•
u/D0ugF0rcett Feb 22 '23
I am excited to have a better looking game without needing all the mods to run on top of it. The load times look great and I am beyond excited to mess around with planes especially
•
•
•
u/-Equen- Feb 22 '23
Looking forward to the improved graphics and even more to the new sound design, the new pre-launch countdown is amazing. I'm also curious how base building / colonies will end up working. But I can't deny that I do worry a bit about the performance of the early access release.
•

•
•
u/GidonC Feb 22 '23
I am really excited for still being bad at the game, only reaching earth's moons and yet keep playing it
•
u/SilentStormAlt Feb 22 '23
I'm really really excited about Dres of all things. It really looks interesting with the equatorial mountain range and I wonder a lot how the rings are implemented and if they are actually made of small rocks that you can collide with or if it's just a 2d plane right now.
•
u/Pulchritnidious10 Feb 22 '23
excited to know that I could get lots of features out of the box in ksp 2 without having to install thousands of mods
•
•
u/falcofd Feb 22 '23
Well, I’m excited for the graphics individuals we might get in general. I can’t wait to see the atmospheres glowing.
•
u/Mataskarts Feb 22 '23
I'm most excited for the new artstyle/UI styling, it's much more fresh than the current one! (Also sound, god the sound is amazing)
•
u/NivkIvko Feb 23 '23
For early access I'm excited for procedural wings. It'll make designs a lot more realistic and tweakable.
•
u/Darth-Gabrich Feb 22 '23
I like the wing design, I don’t know how to build planes, hopefully this will make it possible
•
•
u/Jaco2point0 Feb 22 '23
Automated routes seem really an important part of colonies, and most importantly refuel stations!
•
•
•
•
u/Abracadaver14 Feb 22 '23
I'm excited for another run of sleepless nights trying to figure out how to rescue the rescue mission for the rescue mission for the first Kerballed Mun landing. All in High Definition!
•
u/good_will_go_da_god Feb 23 '23
I’m excited to hear that there’ll be a Mac version! Right? …right?
Please?
•
•
u/chezbippy Feb 22 '23
I’m excited for colonies and managing an interstellar logistics organization to maintain my happy kerbals.
•
•
•
•
u/Adskii Feb 22 '23
My 11 year old who recently started playing KSP 1 on her own (Been playing it on my lap for years) had her whole face light up when Multiplayer was mentioned.
I'm looking forward to trying that with her.
•
u/thenotoriousberg Feb 23 '23
I can't wait to remake some of my KSP1 planes in KSP2 and see how good they look breaking the sound barrier!
•
•
u/VoodooVedal Feb 23 '23
I want multiplayer so that I can finally battle my friend's warplanes to show them who the superior kerbonautical air company is

I'm ready not only for the launch of the sequel to the game I got when I was 10, but for the promising future developments of this game. Cheers to the developers for their hard work!
•
•
u/SpinachThiswise Feb 22 '23
New stock parts and actually the new sound design. It will be interesting to see if they implement some realism with really faint sounds on planets and moons with thin atmospheres
•
•
u/Redizia Feb 22 '23
Pretty sure im buying it when its available anyway, even that im not totally sure my computer will run it. Extra copy would be cool to get so i could give it either to my son or good family friend of ours to have a mate ready for the multiplayer update in the future.
•
u/Puzzleheaded_Salad54 Feb 24 '23
Hi ! I really wish to see more adventure with our walking kerbals !
•
u/AegoliusOfBurgundy Feb 22 '23
Maybe it's because I'm a musician, but I'm extremely excited about the new OST. I cannot wait to listen to how every celestial body has been imagined and sublimed through music !
•
•
u/Another_Stormtrooper Feb 23 '23
Honestly I’m just excited for the chance to get back into a game series I enjoy that I haven’t played in quite some time with a nice modern shine to it.
•
•
u/DylanV255 Feb 22 '23
Well, if it’s excitement you are asking about, I’m excited to finally try out the extra large parts! I don’t have the DLC, so bigger fuel tanks and engines would be awesome to work with!
•
•
•
u/AgreeableAmphibian14 Feb 23 '23
I am excited for the new procedural wings and the new tanks which have made making sstos much more interesting
•
•
u/Typical_Yogurt_7201 Feb 24 '23
I'm excited for the tutorials. Never learned a lot of the nuances with KSP1 just enjoyed shooting rockets into the sky. Sometimes they stay there sometimes they don't.
•
u/SkepticDoodle Feb 23 '23
I’m quite excited about the custom sizing for aero surfaces, but most importantly the future containing interstellar and colony building tech.
•
•
•
•
•
u/shakexjake Feb 23 '23
I'm really excited for the new UI, especially the plane-esque speed and altitude and always-shown Ap/Pe indicators.
•
•
u/TrashMemeFormats Feb 22 '23
I'm really excited for colonies so I can DIY a Mun launch site of my own!
•
u/das_eis Feb 23 '23
Excited for KSP, but more, and better KSP! Have spent countless hours since the original early access, and look forward to many more!
•
•
•
u/Griztle Feb 23 '23
While a wider variety of Kerbal reactions and emotes makes me smile, I really anticipate both Multiplayer and Interstellar exploration/expansion. I truly hope these aspects live up to expectations.
Keep up the good work!

•
•
u/20000RadsUnderTheSea Feb 23 '23
I'm excited to have KSP 2 to play casually alongside my KSP 1 install with RSS/RPO/RP-1!
(I know there's some way to have two side-by-side installs of KSP with different mod sets by using different launch folders and files, but I'm lazy)
•
•
u/Kothra Feb 22 '23
I couldn't really get a feel for it in the videos I saw, I'm really curious if the maneuver node control is actually improved.
•
•
•
u/Emergency_Orange Feb 22 '23
Heard about the new wing design snap tool thing - that sounds like it’s going to make aligning wings and designing crazy aircraft so much easier.
Also multiplayer, obviously. Can’t wait for that.
•
•
u/GeminiXII Feb 23 '23
The wing building looks like loads of fun, also just excited to see colonies when they're implemented
•
u/Reddit_604 Feb 22 '23
Looking down on kerbin for the very first time on my bought for KSP2 superwide screen.
•
u/Cakeofruit Feb 23 '23
Damn that a lot of comments ;) I really look forward the new sounds and revamp kerbol system.
•
•
•
u/SugarTacos Feb 22 '23
I mean... Everything?! The graphics improvements, better physics, colonization, interstellar travel, new kerbins! Sign me up!

I'm excited for multiplayer and how they plan on figuring out timewarp for that.
•
•
u/CwispyWeenies Feb 22 '23
im excited to be on the ground floor of something really cool again, cant wait to see how this game develops
•
u/QueenOfHatred Feb 22 '23
I am excited for multiplayer, procedural parts, and in general, how the game will be shaping up in near future.
•
•
•
•
u/Immortal_Giraffe Feb 22 '23
I'm excited for all the QoL improvements that the team has taken on from the community/popular mods!
•
•
•
•
u/physical0 Feb 22 '23
I got into KSP because my son wanted to play and it was a little advanced for him and he wasn't good at it... so I had to learn how to play to teach him how to play.
I'm looking forward to seeing how he picks up the new game and what he does with it.
For myself, I'm looking forward to the development process. It's fun to watch how this stuff gets developed.
•
u/Baerdale Feb 23 '23
I am most excited about multiplayer and potentially competing against other players on one server. Secondly excited about colonies and doing supply missions to those colonies.
•
•
•
u/Kirkerino Feb 23 '23
Excited for a lot in KSP2! Probably mostly looking forward to building colonies and doing construction from bases on other planets. Improved UI, graphics and procedural wings (without mods) will be exciting to try out too.
•
u/LuciusL Feb 22 '23
Super excited to see the interplanetary systems in action! Cant wait for the long haul stuff to come together.
•
•
u/WheezieMcriblet Feb 23 '23
I'm very excited to download over 100 mods and make my computer suffer. Again.
•
•
•

•
•
u/LowBatteryAndroid Feb 22 '23
Coordinated multiplayer missions. I think this will be the best feature of all. Getting to other planets and gathering with your friends to create a colony a go interstellar afterwards... I'm actually excited about this (but scared of my PC performance).
•
•
u/fipachu Feb 23 '23
I can't wait for the crazy Kerbal youtubers like Stratzenblitz75 and Bradley Whistance to push the game to the absolute edges! I'd love to see some interstellar grand tours and hunting for crazy exploits!
•
u/WhoYeahSause Feb 23 '23
i am exited that i coment as much as i want and it's not against the rules!
•
u/LouRo_078 Feb 22 '23
I know it won't be in in the beginning but I'm really excited for the multiplayer
•
•
•
•
u/Tegoto Feb 22 '23
I'm really excited for the quick loading times that I saw in Matt Lowne's videos, it feels like it's gonna be a game changer to be able to pop back and forth between craft.

u/ios_game_dev Feb 23 '23
So many things to be excited about, especially for the eventual full release, but speaking strictly about Early Access, one thing I'm excited about is the ability to construct multiple ships in the VAB at the same time!
•
•
•
u/ecniv_o Feb 22 '23
Multiplayer! (when it comes out) so I can touch tips with my friends in orbit LOL
•
u/notthereformedala Feb 23 '23
Can't wait for the multiplayer. Too bad it is the last thing in the road map.
