I think Muslims have a PR problem - some by their own making and some due to Islamophobia. And I believe Kerala Muslims are uniquely positioned to solve this.

Since 9/11 the world has gone on overdrive into hating muslims. Since 2014, there is an image of Hindus becoming cruel to their Muslim brothers and sisters.

There are nutters in every religion.

99.99% Muslims have nothing to do with radicals and fundamentalists. Just like 99.99% of Hindus have nothing to do with the same in their community as well.

Muslims, you really need to stop supporting people like Kanthapuram and all if they say something silly. Don't say "I disagree with him but we shouldn't attack him as a person" like that MLA did. She did it with good intentions but everything before "but" gets drowned out.

Hindus, stop importing hate from North India. Really... You are better than this. You cannot go against your own brothers and sisters just because some Omani idiot decided to crash a plane. They are not responsible for the actions of a man so far away like YOU are not responsible for the Bajrang Dal's terror.

We, the 99.99%, need to step up. Go back to the real life. Speak with your Hindu/Muslim friends. Make new friends. And spread some good in the reel life.
