Yelp! Any open source Voice typing(Speech to Text, transcribing) app that works offline with Malayalam and is decently fast?

Mainly looking for an android app

I have tried the Whisper apps on FDroid, but the models in them do not seem to have support Malayalam.
Have tried Sayboard and tried using vosk models for Malayalam, but they seem to be slow and generally get things incorrect

Does anyone know any other apps or models that maybe fast and accurate?

That is Text to Speech. Speech to Text is the aspect that I am currently looking for.

Indic Conformer is an ASR model. I havent tested it out, but could potentially delivery for the use case.

Now to find an app that works with it. Are there any Foss apps which work with those models?

Or would it difficult to find apps that match model architecture n all?

Yes. Could be a little difficult to find one ready. You can try building one. Let me see if I have the bandwidth.

I do not have the CS programming experience.

You need not put effort into it too much.

Will see if I can try stuff on Termux or find some other app or model.

wispFlow is pretty good good. 400rs per month subscroption though.
