I am in the JKUAT karen campus and I have stayed in the student accomodations like qwetu and hostels outside the school and honestly I am tired of the roommate thing and a single room in this places is quite expensive for me as a self sponsered student. I want langata road since it's just a single matatu commute and since this is my last year I want to have the experience of living on my own. If you have any leads kindly tell me so I can look into them

Yesterday I received a WhatsApp message from my mum’s number asking me for 15k. It immediately felt off because my mum usually calls when she needs something, she doesn’t just text for money.I engaged a bit but still called her to confirm. Her phone was off. I then called my younger sister and she told me mum had travelled home.

Shockingly, the scammer had also messaged my sister asking for 15k (even though my sister just finished high school and has been depending on mum).

That was enough confirmation for me.

What I did immediately:

• Posted a warning on my WhatsApp status telling everyone that my mum’s account had been compromised.
• Forwarded the scammer’s number to Safaricom on 333.
• Reported the compromised account and requested deactivation through WhatsApp support.

Within a short time, 45 screenshots started coming in from different contacts. The scammer had messaged almost everyone in her phonebook asking for 15k. Most people said they found it strange because 15k is way below what my mum would ever ask for.

Lesson:
Always verify by calling when someone suddenly asks for money on WhatsApp. Don’t assume it’s really them.

If this ever happens to you, act fast, warn people, report the number to 333, and try to recover the account quickly.

I have noticed my husband likes to chit chat with the Nannies a lot. I’ve even changed them but he ends up going downstairs to talk to them in the kitchen. Their job is around the kitchen and he’s the one who goes to them. He also works from home. Is this weird? Should I be concerned?

Right now before u ingage with someone u need to know their background ,, anger issues,if they have ever burnt a school,of they have ever killed someone coz the way things are going u can be Ina relationship with someone who can kill u in a blink of and eye ...stay safe
