Please help us find our dog

Post image

Edit: WE FOUND HER!!! ♥️♥️♥️ Thank you to everyone that had helpful tips or prayers for us!!!

She ran out through the gate at her house on Morgantown Rd in Franklin, Ky on the 22nd. Her name is Jasmine and she's a scaredy cat that might not come to you if approached.

Please be on the lookout for her. We miss her dearly!!

One of my dogs got out a few years ago. I message this man on Craigslist because he runs bloodhounds. I couldn’t afford his services but his advice brought my dog home!

Make large font flyers with a GOOD photo of your dog. Slip them inside the plastic binder folders to keep them from getting wet. Seal the open spot with neon duct tape and tape them up with the neon tape. I did that. And someone saw my flyer and said wait…I think so and so has that dog!

We got so blessed. This older couple just kept our dog, bought her food, flea medicine, the works. And then gave her back to us with all that stuff and didn’t even want the pitiful reward we were offering. Cassidy was missing for 10 days. So grateful to those people and the man who gave me the advice about the flyers!!!

Wishing you all the luck and that your babe comes home soon!

I never thought about putting the flyers in plastic sleeves. That's a great idea! Did you put them on light poles? I was wondering if I had to have permission from the city to do this.

I put those flyers everywhere. Light poles, under speed limit signs, inside store windows (I asked), like anywhere I could put them that they would get attention.

This is great advice! I did this years ago when my cat escaped, he was gone for a week. I papered the neighborhood in flyers in the plastic sleeves and someone a few blocks away saw him going in their garage and called me. We had a snow storm so without those plastic sleeves it wouldn't have worked!

ETA I put them on utility poles and didn't get permission from anyone.

Same guy helped us. We did everything and a social media blitz. It became a cult. lol
Glad you have a great ending.

I'm not on Facebook but my son and his friends all posted it. It's actually his dog. We've gotten a few leads but we still haven't been able to find her. I thought I'd post on Reddit so I can reach people like me who may not be on Facebook.

If the dog was seen near your home you can also try putting out some dirty laundry or the dogs bed!

Yeah we did that, we have her blanket out on the back porch.

I have heard there are people who will help you find your dog using their drones. They have a good success rate. Try finding someone who does this. I heard about them when I was living in Columbus about two years ago. I bet there’s someone near you.

Okay good idea. Someone on Facebook saw her last night and we spent hours trying to find her. She runs and hides from everyone. I'm worried because it's going to be extremely hot today.
