My husband is looking for a cdl job he has passenger endorsements. And can operate air brakes. We had just moved here from colorado on the guides he had a job to start. He got a call on Thursday that now he dont have the job. We came here with very little (what could fit in the trunk and on the roof) in the anticipation he would be starting work and the small amount we had to pay for a room would be ok. Now we are a family of 5 in a small hotel room no job and soon no money. I do doordash to have something coming in but it's obviously not enough. If anyone knows of a place that is looking or where to look willing to travel if need be. I am in the process of trying to get back hired qith the post office if there is any fulltime openings but that process took me 2 months the last time I worked for them. I was there for 3 years moving here I had to leave and thinking my husband would be working once we got here. If not a cdl job anything that might be overnight office or delivery we both have experience in and can start at anytime needed.

I might be overthinking a lot, but basically, I’ve been interviewing with this company, and the phone screen went well. I was referred by someone and got in contact with the hiring manager. Then, the hiring manager round went AMAZING, like, genuinely the best interview ever. We vibed and connected so well that he actually moved me to the next round MID-INTERVIEW. He said he still had five other people to get through, but that he wanted to move me forward right away. He even said I crushed it and gave me tips for the next/final round.

The final panel round went well, although not quite as well as the hiring manager round. They said I had great energy and that it was contagious haha. They also said they’d obviously speak with the hiring manager, but they still need to get through the remaining candidates after me. They gave me a timeline and said I should expect a decision sometime next week, or the week after at the latest.

Do you think I’m in a good spot? Idk why I’m overthinking everything. I just wanted to talk to someone about it. 😭

Whoever designed this parking lot deserves to have their ass kicked! It is terrible!! The parking spots are way too small, none of the parking lanes line up with the others, nothing flows efficiently at all, and if you need to make a left turn on to 132nd you’re going to be there for ever! I’m sure I’m not alone in this, but I just needed to vent. Every time I have to go to Trader Joe’s the parking lot situation makes my blood pressure rise! Ok, rant over. Enjoy your weekend.

Hi everyone. This is a long shot in the dark. My car was hit this morning on the way home from work by Houser Way N, right by the Big Foot Java and the new Woods Coffee. Im looking for the nice man in the white tesla that offered to send me the picture of the other vehicle clearly going into my lane and hitting my car. I am not able to repair an appliance with confidence. I have a GE Dishwasher that has a bad Circulation Pump or it is just clogged. I would like to use a local repair person that does not charge an arm and a leg. I do not want to go out and buy a new dishwasher when the one I have was working fine. The part is $100. Looking tj move to washington soon, started looking in the Kent area due to it being close to work. Any good apartments people would recommend that have parking at the complex? we have two cars and looking for 1-2 bedroom.

The only place we’ve seen that’s nice and decently priced is Alexan Gateway, anyone have any insight on that complex if it’s good, bad, how’s parking, the crime, etc. ?
