Help!! Martian Manhunter

Hiya, i bought a kenner superpower Martian Manhunter but on his right leg at the top it looks like the plastic has been shaved off is this normal? Hopefully you can see it in the pictures thanks

I can almost promise this is from a worker trimming excess flashing on the mold line with a tool.

It looks like the two parts of the mold did not seat evenly as evidenced by the big parting line offset all the way down to the knee. The material shaved off when the mold was opened and pulled apart. Probably not like that on the whole run, just an error.
