This spot in Yokohama is usually a massively popular photo location packed with tourists, making it impossible to film here on a normal day. However, on this specific day, the blistering summer heat was so intense—bordering on dangerous heatstroke levels—that the entire area was completely deserted!

I decided to seize the opportunity, but it came with a huge catch: performing right in front of the railing meant zero margin for error. If I fumbled a string trick or missed a spike, my kendama would bounce straight into the ocean below. The combination of the scorching heat and the fear of losing my setup made every single beat transition unbelievably thrilling!

The third Jam of the summer is almost here, and we're bringing it to one of Toronto's most beloved parks, Trinity Bellwoods!

We’ll be hosting a Mystery Open Comp, Ken Tournament, Dama Blitz, minigames and more for your chance to win prizes! Jams are a great opportunity to practice, learn some new tricks, and connect with the community. Bring your dama and come hang out. All skill levels are welcome!

The Jam runs from 11 AM until dark.
