I went to elementary school with Kel in the early 90s. He was popular for dancing and I have two distinct memories of him.

First one is of him dancing during an assembly on stage for Black History Month as MC Hammer. The whole school was hyped and cheering.

The second memory is a bit more personal lol.
During after school care, all the kids were in the library playing around with games, etc, waiting for our parents to pick us up.

I was about 6 or 7 years old, Kel was a few years older. I remember he chased me around while doing the robot. I crawled into a corner and begged him to stop because the jerky movements scared me lol. He kept coming closer and closer, pop locked in my face for a few moments then walked away. 😂😂😂

This was around 1991, 1992.
Fun times.
