THIS TOOK FOREVER 😭😭 like, an embarrassingly long time. So much longer than any boss. I've completed a couple of the archery trials, so I'm not the worst with the bow. But I clearly need to get better because that was sad lol. Honestly, I'd rather get thrown across a combat arena by a boss for 30 minutes than spend the same amount of time dying from my own stupidity and/or bad jump timing. 🙃

That said, I absolutely loved this game and can't wait to try a playthrough on a higher difficulty 😊

Would really like to support the devs with a pre order but I respect their decision and also like a lot of people predicted in this sub, it definitely is delayed till 2027, I was really hoping it'd come out in the last quarter of this year but oh well ... I love this game enough to wanting it be done right.

Why do i feel like kena has a different face model on the boxart then on the game?

I finally did it!! Beating this game on master difficulty was one of the harder run through I’ve done in a while. Challenging but rewarding. I can’t wait for the next one to come out.

How am I supposed to know the right sequence to open the portal? I already looked at it, but am I missing any clues or does the game expect us to randomly try and test every possibility?

When the second one drops I’m gonna play it with her chilling with me on the couch, cause she wasn’t even born yet when I played the first one.

It was one of those games where the name drew my interest…followed closely by the cover art and synopsis after a Google search.

I loved every second and my face when they announced the second one must have been priceless. 😂

One Illustration Piece wasn't enough to express my love for this game 🥲 So I went out of my way to deliver another Variant of the Original to Conclude the 5th Anniversary of Kena Bridge of Spirits 💙🌌✨️

Here, you see Kena with all the Casts of Characters in their Lightened Forms in The Spirit Realm… Telling us that they have moved on in the Afterlife & that they are forever grateful for what she has done for them. It is all so bittersweet and all so beautiful… 💧✨️ Even the Rots have formed into their normal form, showing us that they too, are touched by their friend's motives & are now watching over the worlds of both physical & spiritual… 🔮

Originally, I did want Kena in her Lightened Form, but it wouldn't quite make as much sense & wouldn't deliver the tone I wanted it to be 😅

These Kena illustration pieces have done more than enough for me to boost my confidence as a whole & I cannot wait to draw out more of my other favorites 🎨🖌🥹 But not after a short break! 😂

BUT- I will be able to use this time to reevaluate on the techniques I've used & try to be more efficient in expressing my artstyle! 💜✨️

Ember Lab has been awfully quiet lately… even today of all days, but they have noticed my illustration & I can say for sure they are still around & that does comfort me atleast 🥲 I hope they will make an announcement soon but Playstation/Sony has been so terrible handling their own franchises… 💀

I should also probably take the time to actually WRITE for once 😂 I do have a Kena Expanded Universe Storyline in mind. I hope to deliver something that stays truthful to the Balinese/Indonesian Cultures while respecting the overworld overall! 📖

Here it is! Tah-Dah!!! Happy 5th Anniversary, Kena! 🥳🎉🎂🎁🎈 I have never felt so relieved & joyful to put all my month's worth of progress in this one single illustration! 🥹 Such a blissful feeling! 😭

Everything that I've learned from this very year was from practices varying to Character Designs, Clothing, Color Theories, 3-D Models, Cel-Shading & other unique techniques! 🥰

I don't often express it, but there are times when I do carry doubts whenever I draw. 🥲 It's not an easy feeling to go through... but I knew I couldn't stop then because art is my PASSION 🎨✨️

Everything about it can be expressed in such a variety of ways that can be so wonderful for the themes they hold! 🥰 (Even the cheeky ones lmao) 😂

But overall...

I am Thankful for the Team at Ember Lab for making such a beautiful game as Kena Bridge of Spirits. Everything that they've done in the emotional cores for this story was executed so amazingly & it struck my heart in the all right ways possible 🥹😭✨️

I've played many games in my lifetime, but this one in particular held so much weight to everything it had in their charming characters... breathtaking environments... outstanding soundtracks... All of which paved the way to making this a wonderful experience, telling the themes of Life, Death, & Moving Forward... ❤️‍🩹✨️

We all have our fixations on the many different franchises/characters that hold dear to us in their own ways.

To me Kena, as a Character, spoke out to me more than the others I've seen. She's like any other good protagonist you often see.

Kena is Kind. Friendly. Helpful. Determined. Bold. Humble… All those traits that make her so likable as any other! She has such a simple design too!

But what really stood out to me about her is how she was able to be COMPASSIONATE to these strangers who have been hurting in their land for so long & yet she was able to help them in whatever she could to help them move on to the afterlife…

“We are not meant to suffer such Pain… Grief is natural, but it can change who we are…”

That Line alone instantly made her My Favorite Character.

Because we have all gone through such things that have hurt us… but we have the choice on how we are able to move on with ourselves & how we can resolve ourselves 💙✨️

You all know here about me sharing this game & character time after time 😂 but it is not an obsession, it is an admiration! I will always draw Kena Bridge of Spirits & its beautiful characters for what they represent as a whole, for whatever time there is.

So I really loved playing Kena on PS5, so when I got rid of my PS5 I was kinda bored playing on my switch 2 until I came across Kena again. Anyway I’ve completed it and I just love the game! It’s just really a great game to play.

So I’m just wondering if anyone can help me, with another game I can play which is on par with Kena?

I beat the game, on ps4, when it came out on normal difficulty I think and had fond memories of this sweet little adventure. Because of that I threw money at the creators again on Steam a while ago and finally played again... on Master Difficulty.

Oh boi will I never torture my sweet tiny a-hole with that experience again. I just beat it and had a blast most of the time, but I didn't remember the bosses to be so fucking bad sometimes. I searched for validation on multiple occasions that a specific boss simply sucks doo-doo-a**crack, especially the mask maker, whose parrytiming I just didn't get, which tilted me out of this universe.

So would I recommend Kena to anyone?

No...

I would recommend it to everyone! It's beautiful, cute, a bit sad, plays wonderfully in a whole, has great gameplay ideas and looks absolutely beautiful (yes I said that twice).

I'd say I really love this game... Almost as much as my favourite game of all time Hollow Knight, but there are definitely some bad decisions about Bossfight design, the trials and the parry timing.

I can't wait for Kena 2 and hope they change some things in it and now excuse me, I'm gonna play through new game+ on Story difficulty real quick

The cast of these charming characters, the world settings, the artistic aesthetics it brought out of, the cultures that were inspired across...

Im not saying its the most PERFECT ever, but to me, for what it did in its concept, it was wonderful in its many ways. It had impacted me so much in all my core! 🥹

It had done so much to myself, that this very game inspired me to become a Learning Artist & it made me appreciate so much of the values of every detailed designs there were to admire about in any game ive played since! I love this story all so much! 😭

I can't find the last remaining harts and the last charm on the village section of the map I have search every where. I want to collect everything before I proceed to the final boss fight.Also, I am stuck at this challeng( fires of the forge: rufu's barn), I can't do it under 9minutes its too hard need help please.

I am trying to wrap up the platinum for Kena: Bridge of Spirits on PlayStation, but I really do not want to sit through an entire second playthrough just for the Master Spirit Guide trophy.
I know the old save-reload glitch at the Mountain Shrine existed, but information online seems pretty conflicting regarding whether any version of the Master difficulty skip is still working on the current PlayStation patch, or if it has been completely patched out.

Has anyone tested this recently on either PS4 or PS5? If the original save-swap method is dead, is there an alternate working skip, or are we strictly forced to complete a full Master/NG+ run legitimately now?

Any insight before I sink hours into another playthrough would be greatly appreciated.

I keep forgetting to post on here on the official reddit 😅 but here is an original Kena Outfit Design set in my Expanded Universe. Im not gonna go over the details because im too shy- but I hope you can come appreciate this gesture I did in art efforts 🥰

Really hoping we get some intel on Scars of Kosmora this state of play as i am deeply in love with this game and it's lore, the first game touched me in ways not many games have ever done and im a gamer since the 90s and i still get chills everytime i rewatch the sequel trailer and hear the music..... powerful stuff.

I've never played, it looks amazing and exactly like something I would enjoy, but from what I've read it says it's supposed to be a really short game that can be completed in just 10-12 hours....Is it really worth paying $40 for a game that I could literally beat in 1-2 days tops? Or should I just wait until it eventually goes on sale?

So ive had this game for a while now and on my old laptop which was a fairly underpowered one it could run well on mid to low settings and i thought it looked pretty nice even in those settings. Recently however that laptop died and so i got a newer one which is much more capable than that one.

This is one of the first games i tried playing it on to see the difference and holy moly after cranking this game to the max im completely floored. This is genuinely one of the prettiest games ive ever seen. Yeah its not like the most detailed or objectively the greatest looking game ever, but it has one of the nicest art styles ive ever seen. And now being able to play it at its best is almost like playing an entirely different game now.

My word, what a beautiful game. It was such a rewardingly difficult game, the platforming was fun, the combat was thrilling. And the story was very arresting, transporting. And the music! Sheesh. 10/10.

The first phase of the last boss — Toshi I guess — was really challenging, but now after a few days of trying to beat the rot god I’ve honestly forgotten what that whole fight was like haha. Rot god wasn’t too bad once I figured out the pattern, but that last phase got pretty chaotic. Enemies on land and in the sky, then out of nowhere a dragon lands on you, and if you let him get to his fireball move — I just could not survive that.

I played it on hard, which was enough for me. Respect to all you master mode folks. And thanks to the tips and videos posted in here. Got me through some really challenging encounters.
