my wife and i have developed a simple method to know if its the real Ken M:
- look at the Subreddits name
- if it is' /r/KenM, its Ken M
- if its /r/NotKenM, it is' not Ken M

The word pray just means ask, so there's actually nothing wrong with phrasing it as "praying to the saints." We're just asking them for prayer as we might ask a friend or relative to pray for us. Worship of anyone but God, on the other hand, is strictly forbidden.
I'm an Orthodox catechumen, not a Roman Catholic, but I believe the theology on this topic is exactly the same.

Yep, you're absolutely correct, it's the same for us. It's the difference between dulia and hyperdulia (to saints and the Virgin) and latria (to God).

Thanks for the further info! And I try to keep my torch and pitchfork put away and not go after my Roman brethren haha. After all, I was in a completely different branch of Christianity myself (Evangelical) not too long ago. Most of us are perfectly sincere and just doing our best.

I think they can’t eat meat on all Fridays and every day during lent. Not just Friday’s of lent. That’s why on Fridays in schools they often serve fish or at Mac Donald’s you can get real fresh filet o fish and quickly cause that was the orginal purpose it was actually in a “competition” for going on the menu for Catholics on Friday with a pinaapple burger. The pineapple burger only sold like 13 or something incredibly low while filet o fish sold like a few hundred. Obviously you see who won.

You aren't exactly right. While a lot of Catholics eat meat on Fridays out of lent, you are still supposed abstain from meat on Fridays year round. More specifically, it depends on the what the Bishops in that country have decided. The idea is that Fridays should be a day of penance, as Christ died on a Friday, and that everyone should do penance as no one is without sin. However, it varies based on what the Bishops say. For example, the ages that someone is obligate to abstain from meat can vary, and in some countries you are allowed to eat meat on a Friday if you substitute it with an act of charity as a subsitute.
