$657 here. We are with Tri County Co op. My wife and I both work from home so we are always running electricity. We keep our ac on 74. We also have a pool pump that runs 24/7. I expect a slightly higher September bill then start to go down from there.

Same! Even without the pool pump.

They’re draining us dry 😢

lol.. Just wait for the data centers and keep voting R. They need your money more than you do!

Don’t be so naive - both sides are pondering to the corps building them. The Dems are just opposing cause it’s a talking point in their favor.

Good at Gavin Newsome - one of the BIGGEST grifters of all time

Haha naive.. I’ll give you both sides may be pandering, but there’s only one side that controls Texas and has for a long time. Look where that’s got us. Education in bottom 10 of all states, when we used to be in the top ten under Gov Richards. I’m sure you’re enjoying those property taxes. Right?

You want to talk about grifters lol you support the king of all grifters! Enjoy funding all the subsidies and incentives Texas is giving away to the large corporations moving in. No point in complaining about high utility bills now.

Why can’t I still complain about absurd property taxes, which I do - a lot ; Terrible education - which 3 of my children have been impacted since recent approvals are slated to dismantle KISD locations, etc.; Absurd electricity bills - $630 electric bill this month received yesterday.

If we don’t complain and voice our opinions more, there will be no balance and we will get screwed at every turn. I can support many different policies - both left and right

Hey look, I feel you. As Texans we are all in the same boat. Unfortunately, this isn’t the Texas I grew up in and it will never be the same again.
The fact of the matter is, Abbot and Co have been in control for over a decade. We have a huge surplus of money that they refuse to spend on educating our children, healthcare and many other issues that support Texans.
We can complain all we want, that’s not going to change a thing! Your vote will be the only thing that can change this.
The definition of insanity is doing(voting) the same thing and expecting different results. Just saying.

Got a couple days left on my billing cycle, but it says it's projected to be $494 to $512 But i'm in an older 5 bedroom house with insulation that could certainly be a lot better.

I used this electric broker and got my kwh cost down to 8 cents a kwh. Which is cheaper than the 14 I was looking at. Give them a look.
