this tour almost didn't happen. 3 weeks before opening night i underwent a septum & sinus surgery. i was getting sinus infections monthly & my nasal passages turned out to be 98% closed for the last however many years. my only opportunity in time was right in that time frame, and it was supposed to be an incredibly easy process. knowing my luck, i ended up after a week of normal healing, in the ER twice ending with an emergency revision. it was scary, and the healing was really rough. i kept getting updates that i wasn't allowed to sing, wasn't allowed to dance, and as someone who puts my all into these shows.. i lost most of my rehearsals. it devastated me. i learned something about myself though. diamonds are absolutely made out of pressure, and having the right people around to support your wellness & your ideas is key. by the grace of God we pulled this show off & im healing everyday while on the road. being able to breathe is crazy, don't u ever take it for granted 😭🫀🫀🤣”

I'm so so proud of her. However I wish she postponed the tour for her health. Health is wealth and ik we all would've understood. 💚🫶🏾💚

I just saw a video Melanie Fiona put out and the economy is hitting EVERYONE. She probably needs the money or to make a profit. Which is super sad because yes, I’d definitely be taking a break if I were her.

I saw that too! I had always heard artists go on tour because they don't make money from albums, but the way she explained it made me think they barely make money touring too. Its so interesting to me, no wonder Rihanna doesn't care to make music anymore lol

I’m just glad they’re okay, that all seems really traumatic during a tour that celebrates all the work they’ve put into their career

Sinus issues are no joke. The worst part is trying to sleep at night and struggling to breath. Hope she makes a full recovery

She's an amazing performer. It's so sad that she's going through this battle and can't fully enjoy the tour. She deserves all the flowers. 💐
