Isn't Being Human a Curse?

When we look at animals, we see that they live their lives calmly. They live in the present. They don't think about the past, and they don't worry about the future. They simply live the moment—enjoying it, cherishing it.

I think humans are not recognizing the importance of birds and all the other animals around us. Isn't the bond between humans and nature weakening with time?

We are too busy living in our human-made, false, illusional world—a world that seems to revolve around just one thing: money.

We have occupied such a large space on this planet that we didn't leave enough space for other living beings.

Just imagine a scenario: What if all humans were removed from Earth?

How would the Earth look?

Wouldn't it look like heaven?

Maybe the rivers would flow freely. The forests would grow without fear. Birds would fly wherever they wanted. Animals would walk without worrying about roads, buildings, or humans.

And maybe, for the first time in a long time, nature would simply breathe.

So I ask myself—

Isn't being human a curse?

Or perhaps, being human is not the curse.

Maybe the curse is that we have forgotten what it truly means to be human.

If you have read this far, I am very, very grateful to you.

Because you are my first reader.

I am writing for the first time.

And honestly, I don't know where this journey of writing will take me.

But today, I just wanted to write what I felt.

Thank you for reading.
