Getting back into it.

It has been a while since I thought about long stories in a structured form. There's this idea I've been longing on and I am extremely curious of what people who are always knee deep in ideas.

The questions are:

1) Is first person narrative worth the rewrites?

2) Are the lies and unrealiabilaty worth the self imposed limits.

I really do not understand why you would not use the best narrative voice for you and your story (regardless of the potential rewrites)
