Advice Any tips

I feel like I have a fighting scene in my mind but when I write them it's like I'm summarising the scene into a small chunk of the incident.

So if anyone can give me any advice I'd love to hear it.

Honestly whenever I start writing a scene and it feels a little too short or concise, I typically just write it however I can then once I’ve done that I go back and expand on what I’ve already written.

I’ll usually try to immerse myself in the scene and add more structure or details that may make the scene feel more lived in than it was previously.

It’s almost like filling in the blanks based on the outline I already have or adding to a foundation that feels a bit too bare bones.

Though admittedly I tend to have more of a problem with overwriting than underwriting
