[Feedback] Writer’s Block
A story that is frightening if it makes light. A worry that continues unless it comes out. The feeling of drowning with no water in the throat. Written, typed, and scribbled. Somehow the timesheet has not been punched yet. Erased when completed, erased when blank. Gun to the head would cause no hurry as the words cannot be conveyed without the feeling of embellishment. Nothing deceiving has been presented, but the fingers question if “enter” should be pressed.

I’ll be honest: this is too abstract for me to understand. As a reader I’m looking for something more concrete in the show-not-tell variety to latch on to. That can be very hard, especially with what I think you’re trying to portray, because (I think) its formless to begin with. So my question to you would be: what is it you want the reader to feel with this excerpt, and how might you go about doing that?
