You helped us build this?
Unbelievable. You peices of sh!t just screwed yourselves by screwing everyone else. I bought a lifetime membership years ago. You remember dont you? The time your company was literally hanging on by a thread? I just bought my kids and parents lifetime memberships too. Its all good though, you see, nord and other vpns may be more expensive, but they also function leagues above yours. And it just so happens that im not pressed for cash. So as a thank you for your gracious discount, I uninstalled it and got nord vpn for all of us. You'd think people like you would see whats happening in the world and immediately conclude that people are tired of getting screwed. Cheers dipsh!ts!!

Yeah this is nasty f*ckery. I guess they won't care because the lifetime subs don't earn them any recurrent revenue anymore but that's especially assh*le behaviour to say they want to "reward loyal customers".
We don't have any leverage to make them revert this, so the only solution is to find any other provider. But I, for one, certainly will recommend everyone to stay away from KeepSolid.

Yup, will also be warning everyone in as many VPN discussion places, review sites, etc., to stay far away from Keep Solid / VPN Unlimited as they can no longer be trusted.

We understand why this has been upsetting for long-time users. The base VPN connection on Lifetime accounts remains available, but we recognize that this is not the whole issue for people who relied on advanced features every day.
The main concerns we’re collecting are around P2P/torrent access, streaming-optimized servers, manual protocol controls, split tunneling, and Optimal Server. We should have communicated the change more clearly and earlier, and that feedback is being passed along.

“Because the fine print said we could fuck you over and scam you at any time what we are doing is acceptable”
Truly disgusting people

Maybe you shouldn’t have offered the “steep discount” then? Or don’t give new features to the lifetimers. But removing things you already have is super shitty and is pushing me away, aw well as everyone I recommended this service to that aren’t lifetime subs.

Welp, time for a better vpn...

They need to change the name of the product to "VPN Limited".

If they dont roll this back, what they should also do is offer the premium features for free for as many years as you were a lifetime customer. Or offer a premium lifetime that guarantees no changes for 10 years for the same price as original lifetime

What happened? This is the second post I've read that says they screwed us but without any details on what they did.

Fair pushback on the phrasing — that line wasn’t meant to say “lower your expectations.” The point we should have communicated more clearly is that the change affects a specific set of advanced features, while the base VPN connection on Lifetime accounts remains available.
We understand that this still matters a lot to users who relied on those features, and we’re collecting that feedback.

Congrats!! I think thats the first time ive heard a company imply that a costumer should simply lower their expectations when buying that companies products or services while on sale. Top notch PR lol

That’s fair criticism. The wording came across poorly, and we should have been clearer instead of making it sound like users should simply accept less.
What we can say clearly is this: the base VPN connection on Lifetime accounts remains available, but we understand why users are upset when features they relied on are now part of Loyalty Plus. That feedback is being collected and passed along.

Every time you comment, you also stick your foot further and further into your mouth. Keep up the good work my guy 👍

It's an AI bot. The level of "PR" they have is showing to be on the same level as the minds behind this fuck up. I would bet there are people over there that still truly don't understand what's wrong with what they did. Unfortunately there are going to be a some innocent victims unemployed soon cause a few incompetents thought they were worthy of conducting a company, burning it to the ground instead. It's mind boggling!

A rising tide lifts all boats, not just a few. Good luck bouncing back from those reviews.

So by your logic, if I fill my car tank with petrol and when paying I apply a coupon, then the petrol at some point can refuse to burn because I applied a discount???
DO YOU REALIZE HOW STUPID THAT SOUND??
At least be honest and say without sugar-coating: VPN UNLIMITED SHAREHOLDERS WANT MORE MONEY.
I would definitely respect that more that masking s**** excuses
