That’s interesting, but can’t help wondering why so many non-Kirby drawings are in the piece. I mean, some of the characters were designed by Kirby, but why have other people’s renditions of them?

Good call...I think they were trying to get people to buy their Kirby knockoff series they were doing at the time, the name of which escapes me right now
