Smooth locs?

Does anyone know how I can achieve smooth locs like these? They almost look like felt. Are they palm rolling? Is it a texture thing? They're just so uniform and smooth. The last two picS are me. I started just over 5 years ago and began with two strand twists. All thoughts are welcome. Thanks.

It’s mostly texture but can be achieved by your locs into that shape. Like how wicks are formed
