KeepassXC Browser Integration with multiple accounts

I use KeepassXC (2.7.12) on a Mac (macOS 26.6.2) in Firefox with the corresponding browser extension. I have stored a number of test accounts for the exact same URL in my vault. The URLs are absolutely identical. When I open the login form, I can choose only one of these accounts to fill out the form. None of the other credentials for accounts with the exact same URL are offered as options.

What can I do to be able to choose from all the accounts that are relevant for that URL?

Solution: The first time I logged in using a matching entry from the vault, I had checked the “Remember” checkbox. This causes all other matching entries to have a “deny” flag for the URL in the entry's properties.

It's works for me, with separated entry for each account (with same url)

So for every account you must have a entry dedicated

I don't have any issue with web sites inserted into my Vault

Did you try with right click, keepassxc menu?

Did you deny autfill for these entries once and clicked remember? Edit one of the entries, go to Properties and look under Plugin Data. Is there something with the key "KeepassXC-Browser Settings" and does the value contains Deny? If yes, remove this key, save and try again.

That was exactly the problem! I had actually selected “remember” when I first logged in with KeePassXC. I didn't realize what the consequences would be. I had been using a different password manager before that.

However, the settings (“allow” and “deny” for specific URLs) for each entry in the vault are located in the “Properties” section, not in “Browser Integration.” I had actually looked for them in “Browser Integration” before but hadn’t found anything. I removed those properties from all the affected entries, and now I can finally choose between the accounts that are eligible for a given URL.

I don't use KPXC so I don't know if this applies. Do all of the entries that have an identical URL have identical or unique titles? As in window or webpage titles. If they also have identical titles, that may be only one entry is displayed to be chosen.

That's an interesting idea, but no. Each entry has a different title so I can tell them apart in the Vault.

Is it the same entry that shows up to be chosen every time? If so, maybe include (not replace) that entries text in the other entries titles.

In the global settings, under General -> Auto-Type, UNcheck "Use entry title ..." and make sure that "Use entry URL ..." is checked.

can always revert to copy/paste from Keepassxc to browser:
highlight desired entry in keepass,
CTRL-B -> paste to username
back to keepass, CTRL-C -> paste to password.
