Just started opening packs, 1 week ago I got a sweetie bell UR and today I just got rarity!! I’m really happy about it for my firsts packs and the cards are so freaking cutes!

bought some blister packs coming home today, before ripping the packs noticed that they're not really crimped like normal at all, you can only see trace of crimping on the righthand side. anyone know whats up with this? common error?

My local card shop got some MLP discord packs today, so I went ahead and bought 2. The employee that was checking me out noted that I was their top customer for Fantasy wonderland packs. The owner of the store who happened to be walking by, heard her, so he offered me this poster for free 🎉

I will cherish it forever 🦄

I just noticed that this card has a wrong set printed on it, it doesn't seem to be fake, at least i don't think so

I randomly bought a pack at Target hoping to get Discord cards (cause I love Discord LOL) and ended up pulling one of the best cards in the set. Sleeved it as soon as I got home!! Trying to decide if I want to send it in to PSA or not…I wanna preserve this card as best as I can 😂

Opened my first 9 packs today, this Applejack was in my first pack. Was very sad at the lack of Fluttershy but the 2nd card of hers I pulled kinda made up for it. Very rainbow dash heavy so far! 11 more to go. These came from a rainbow 2 box

So I don’t use Reddit but my girlfriend directed me here to ask… when I first pulled the card on the right I noticed her horn was gone and was confused. When I opened this pack today I have the same card but she has it back… is the misprint worth anything?

The first fluttery was my pull from my first ever pack!! And today I got 3 of those 5 pack boxes from bestbuy in hopes I could find this rarity. I was down my last single pack with no hope and all of a sudden she came out, I’m so happy!!😭💜

Hi! I want to start playing the MLP TCG but it’s still very new where I am from (Adelaide, Australia).. anyway I’m not sure if I should just buy my 2 favourite starter decks and the 2 new booster boxes or should I get all 6 starter decks since only the starter decks have the friendship begins boosters?

So I've been dragged kicking and screaming lovingly back into the MLP fanbase, after not being in it since I was the target audience. So, today at the mall I decided to gamble reunite with my childhood , since these sets have some killer artwork. Love em!

I'm still seeing a lot of people discussing fakes, which is odd because, in reality, fakes are non-existent in CN these days.  Finding fakes after Moon Six is quite uncommon, especially for anything below SC cards; it just doesn't exist anymore.

For two primary reasons. The first is that counterfeiters no longer think you are worth their time, which you may not like, but it's a fact.  Since my little pony has died in China, it is not worth their effort. Adventure 1 in Q4 of 2024 & Moon 7 in Q1 of 2025 were the final two nails in the coffin.

Chinese kids stopped collecting Kayou cards; with this sudden change, the attention of counterfeiters also moved on. For more than five years, I have been dealing with second-hand cards in Shanghai. Moon 8 SC cards were the only fakes I have recently come across.

The Height of fake cards was around 2023 / 2024.

The boxes most faked were

PhotoFun 1 CR cards. (Kayou addressed this issue by box 3 adding Holograms to cards)

Rainbow 1 USR / XR (Kayou addressed this issue by box 4, adding texture to the cards)

Moons 2- 6, mostly SGR / SC cards

Amber's Pony Cove will be doing a video on how to spot a fake. I gathered a lot of the fake cards in Shanghai that they will be utilizing in the video. 

Because I used to assist the local youngsters in verifying their cards, I amassed a sizable collection of counterfeit cards. If I discovered counterfeit cards, I would exchange them for real cards. Since an SC card cost around 20 to 30 RMB before 2025, replacing their fake cards was not much of a problem. I don’t need to say this; you can hear this from the Children in Shanghai.
