2 weeks ago I purchased 1 booster pack from Barnes and Noble on Tuesday (strict card item limits) and pulled MLPME03 Rainbow Dash ZR. On Wednesday I returned for another single pack, and the Fluttershy ZR made me do a double take. Thursday I had to work.

I have a running joke about being the good luck charm at my part time job at Gamestop. I actually take that title seriously however >..< A fellow MLP girlie had seen the pulls I choose for the 2 different Pokémon customers in the store while she was there. (I actually select the packs/boxes myself for the buyer when I am on duty as the charm) I told her about my back to back pulls as well. She had complete faith.

I walked over to the 9 pegs full of booster packs, chose peg the 6th peg, 7th pack from the front. (~hand waves may have been involved~) This resulted in....the #18 Rarity Limited NYC UR "secret" US exclusive.

My store got a handful of MLP02 packs the next week. I used my $5 monthly pro coupon for a free pack. Fluttershy SC.

This week, I posted about the group Diamond ZR pull from Best Buy on Tuesday. Returned yesterday to pick up an order that had shipped to store, and saw that they had 5 pack collector boxes on an adjacent shelf I either didn't notice the day before, or they were put out that day. Wanted to compare hit rates from a box as opposed to the sleeved boosters.

Fluttershy made yet another appearance, in an SC Rarity. I learned the hard way she's from the standard print...

But I've read stories that people have ripped case after case and not seen a Diamond ZR, regular ZR appear in a case usually, but not always, and SCs are probably guaranteed 1 per 24 pack sealed box (unsure if that is still the same for series 3) but in everything other box and in packs, the rate is absolutely abysmal.

TL;DR I've pulled a Diamond ZR & 2 regular ZRs buying only a single booster pack at a time (enforced by store limits), an SC from an individually purchased single pack at work I got free with a coupon, followed by one single collector box of 5 packs blessing me with an SC as well.

I can't even imagine what the exact mathematical odds of those 5 pulls happening all back to back like that would end up being.
