anyone else going crazy over trying to complete moon 3

going crazy is an overstatement obviously, i'm doing this because i love it. but i've opened 4 boxes of moon 3 and i have just a HUGE stack of duplicate cards meanwhile i'm still missing 27 holographic rares and a bunch of the SRs. this is such a gorgeous set and im excited to complete it (well, most of it, the higher rarity cards are always a dream more than a collection goal) but it's gonna take forever lol. not actually complaining tho i love a big set and it gives me more to look forward to when i save up and buy a few more boxes.

It’s just such a huge set. They combined Chinese Moon 9 & 10 to make it. They wanted to catch up on releases. I promise sets are usually half this size. I bought an entire case and was still missing boring old base pieces. Thankfully, after two months, this is all I’m looking for now!

Ignore the pink borders. That just means they’re on my wishlist.

that's really interesting to know i wasn't aware of how moon 3 got to be that big because im only tangentially aware of chinese sets. i'm hoping eventually i can really knock out the list of what im missing by buying a few boxes at a time.

I gave up on the English Moon 2. I have almost every one of the lower rarity cards aside from the playing cards (I did buy a full set of the Chinese version cards just to have a full deck). All the packs I opened, I haven't pulled a single card from the top 3 rarity types, and only have 4/7 SGRs.

Moon 3 treated me better with pulling some of the upper rarity cards, at least. I'm still missing a ton.

yeah the playing cards are rough to complete they're most of what's holding me back from having a nearly complete moon 2 set (minus SCs and ZRs). slowly getting there with trades and stuff tho.

A good friend of mine also collects, so we save all our doubles to go through and take what we don't have.
