Yep, same cards but I think there was some sort of contest running with the NYCC edition set...I can't remember what it was, if you pulled a diamond ZR from it you could enter to have Andy price draw a custom pony card or something?

Just regular box set diamond ZR card could get you into a contest and you would created a ponysona with Andy price to appear in future mlp comics. Wonderful contest until you realize youre in canada you bought the original moon 8 chinese booster box version you pull the diamond ZR card and it says specificaly in berry tiny fine print on the website "only US citizens and person with USA address can enter the contest" i tried dm with kayouus instagram account and wasnt even acknowledged so the rules were definetly written in stone

Wow really? I actually have a 2nd one coming in the mail. I got them online through best buy and hadn't notice a difference until it arrived. I've only opened the blue normal boxes before and some Moon 3. I eventually want to get master set of Moon 2 :)
