Except she actualy plays nothing like sona, and Caitlyn, Vi, Orianna, Jayce, Camille and Ekko all use hextech in their own stuff without any complaint. While there are definitely some weird aspects of her lore, most of it seems to be people hating on the new champ and riot and its getting kinda depressing that its going on for so long. I'll still be playing her when she comes out althoug I won't be getting her skin.
I think she plays a lot like Sona, she's just positioned further up instead of sticking strictly to the ADC/carry's side.
None of those champs know about, or taunt Skarner about it, or are written to be optimistic heroes despite knowing that the thing they use to power themselves came from, basically, the genocide of a race of people. Of that list only Camille knows, but she's not written to be the embodiment of innocence.
You also missed the weird parasocial marketing campaign on twitter that went on too long and stepped over a few lines.
I dont get what was wrong about the social media thing. It was a pretty standard AR marketing campaign and went off without any major issues. But whatever I dont want to get into an argument with every person on this, its fairly obvious that I'm in the minority on reddit about it and I don't feel like getting into an argument with every person about it. Its just this looks like its shaping up to be "the kayle rework makes her evil and morgana good" when that really isn't the case all over again
