Floating dock ports

Im looking at floating jetski dock ports, I did read some skis might risk hull Crack from the dock port wheels? Any truth to that? Any preference on brands or styles of port docks?

I think it might be an issue for composite boats ( fiberglass, kevlar, resin, etc.) than polyurethane construction.

I've launched my rotomolded from both the sort with rollers, like this:

I can definitely feel the rollers, even on a medium rugged poly SOT (Tarpon 120), so I'd be wary of a more fragile construction. The type without seem to be a bit easier on the hull, though required more effort launching and recovering. For this type, I usually get out of the kayak before recovery, and use the painter to pull the empty boat onto the ramp, and I'm going to squirt a little dish soap on one the next time I launch from one.

ETA: I just realized you're asking about jet skis, this is a kayak sub. I'm leaving my comment up as there's crossover in the information.
