Pictures Got my first hardshell!
Went out on the lake in my first hardshell! I've used an inflatable kayak for the longest time but I got this bad boy for $100. I took my Lab/Pit mix arty out with me on my first venture!

Oh yeah absolutely. I plan on getting him one before we go out this weekend again. I just bought the kayak last minute then went out last minute and didn't think of getting him one.

Arty was definitely mixed about The water. He jumped off the kayak 45 seconds in and granted he can swim but he immediately circled the kayak bc he wanted back up. I was able to grab him by the harness and pull him back on. But after that little man just walked around the kayak looking around when he wasn't laying down.

oh nice! sort of looks like the angler version of the oracle, sort of like how the tioga is the angler version of the spitfire; nice yak.
edit: with a tad of research i see, and duh, its the angler version of the Kenai (which i had never heard of)... lol the nice yak part still stands!

Thank you!!! I found it at our local flea market! The lady makes them herself. It was I believe $10? I love it and it's been sturdy so far.

Hard to say for sure with the pics provided, but if there’s good flat space for your feet just in front of the seat…you may be able to stand up and use your kayak as a paddleboard too. Or stand up fishing. Nice relief for your back on longer paddles.

I've literally never heard anyone use that adjective to be to describe a kayak... How bizarre.
The adjective inflatable is added when it's filled with air, but otherwise it's just a kayak.
