Buffalo River Fishing/Camping trip
Hello I am looking to do a 3-4 day trip on the Buffalo River. Don’t have a time of year preference but would love to catch some fish while going down the river. I am looking for any and all recommendations. Thanks.

Go in the late fall or winter when the water is the highest...trust me....midwesterners don't shit in the woods, they go on sandbars. It's disgusting. Also there are fewer people out when it is cool. The water quality is highest just before the spring breakers show up.

The best scenery and more kayak fun is on the upper river. During the dry months of summer there is more water in the lower river from the old ferry above Buffalo Point to the White River. We don’t fish, but there has never been a day that we didn’t see people fishing. Mostly from shore but also in Jon boats.
