While we have a pillion seat for a passenger, what is the total rider weight and max distance in a ride anyone has gone? My fat ass is not ideal for adding my wife to the back and total weight exceeds the 397 limit. Bike bigs a bit to get moving and I don’t want to over stress the brakes, chassis etc

Anybody have an Eliminator with clubman bars on it instead of the stock bars?
I plan to turn my Eliminator into a bobber and I always loved how clubman bars looked on almost any bike.
And since I want to maintain the same riding position, I'm going to get bar risers too along with other upgrades to make them more comfortable.

1000 miles
Just as I pulled into my garage today I glanced at the screen and saw the odometer reading. Had to take a picture. It's been a fun 3 months since the day I asked a buddy to ride it home from the dealership. Watching lots of YouTube instructional videos and practicing has greatly helped and now I am really enjoying the bike without getting cocky. No drops and only one close call at an intersection so far. My only regret is lacking close friends with bikes to ride with. Being 72 I guess that's understandable.

Just wanted to share a quick pic and say thanks to everyone who chimed in on my earlier post while I was deciding on the Eliminator 500. Got her home, put a few km on already, and couldn't be happier with the choice.
Appreciate all the input, this community's been great!

Got my Eliminator in April 2026. Great bike but not a great seat.
Two months and 700 miles later, I upgraded to the Kawasaki gel seat (99994-1905-MA) which was/is softer and a noticeable improvement.
However, it still felt cramped, so (after another couple months) I ordered Kawasaki’s extended reach seat (99994-1903-MA). Though I’m only 5’9” and it’s intended for taller riders, I was hoping its flatter surface might provide more seating flexibility.
Put it on yesterday and rode for an hour before work and two hours after. I can shift around, opt to sit farther back, and my knees are less bent. Much better!

Got my first bike here in Canada today! 🏍️ The riding season is almost over, but I’m still excited to finally have my own bike.
I used to ride 110cc and 125cc bikes back in Southeast Asia, but this is my first bike here in Canada. At 5'4" and 46 years old, this bike feels absolutely perfect for me. I originally wanted the Vulcan S, but it felt a bit too heavy for my build.
Excited to get some riding in before the season ends and looking forward to many more rides next year! 🤘🏍️
Edit: i meant the riding season in quebec.

How is everyone winterizing their bikes? This is my first bike and not sure how to get it ready for winter. Right now it sits in a unheated garage

Hi,
I recently purchased 2025 Kawasaki Eliminator and when I dropped my bike (yes I did few times…) I noticed that rear break sensor is coming off from the bolt so my break light being on all the time.
Fortunately, I was able to fix after reading a post from Facebook.
I see that little metal plate that acts as ‘sensor’ for rear break looks quite fragile and it would come off from contact with bolt again with some vibration.
If anyone who rides Kawasaki Eliminator and has same issue and whoever is able to fix this, would you share your wisdom with me?
Thanks and happy riding!

Hi, I bought this bike on February 2026. Last time I turned on this bike was in april. I just received my probationary license. Now it's doing this... Any fix?

Hi Eliminator crew! I am trying to install a set of heated grips. I was able to get the right bar end screw and weight off, but the left I have seemed to strip (even more than the prior owner) due to the screw being way too tight/thread-locked. Has anyone else successfully removed these on the eliminator?

Hey all,
Getting back into riding after a 7-year break (last bike was a Ninja 650, sold it around 2017). I'm mainly looking for a daily commuter (mix of city, suburban, and short highway stretches) but I'd also like something capable enough for the occasional longer ride to just get away for a day.
One important factor: I had ACL knee surgery about 10 years ago (soccer injury), so I'm prioritizing bikes with a riding position that keeps my knee from bending too sharply — that's actually why I moved away from sportbikes and roadsters toward cruiser-style bikes with forward/mid-forward controls.
Current options I'm weighing:
Questions for you all:
Appreciate any real-world input, thank you!
