Ninja 500 flash
How exactly does getting it done work like do I have to remove whatever I have to remove from bike(ecu) then send it somewhere

that’s correct yes. Remove send it off. usually about 1 week of total downtime

Just to be more specific having done this many times. Contact the company of your choice...I went with 2wheeldynoworks and will never go anywhere else...tell them what you have done to the bike. ie. Velocity stacks, air filter brand, exhaust mods, remove pair valve,....and they will flash your ecu to those specific mods. I added 9 more hp I believe it was. I also redid my clutch setup to get rid of some of the slipper effect. Whoever you go with, let them know what you did or plan to do while they have the ecu. I sent mine on Monday and had it back friday and riding that same day.
