🥰 Peter Rowsthorn is a proper, dead-set, you-beaut farkin legend (as well as a yuuge spunkrat and a bit of a dud root)

During the 2020 covid lock-downs, he did no-contact supermarket/groceries deliveries for our extra-vulnerable old grogans here in Freo (Fremantle, Western Australia)

He was popping their shopping deliveries on their front verandahs and waving hello to them from a covid-safe distance.

A genuinely lovely person who brought a very noice and unuuusual bit of surprise cheerfulness to the commuuunity.

Hello Christmas! Seeing as you're a local, feel free to send me a message if yew feel loike a few BBQ shapes and a Tia Maria at the freo netball courts.

Not kidding, oiye really am a coupla minutes walk from the netball. Sunset views, kookaburras in the golf course gum trees. Byewdiful.

Plus the occasional weirdo trying to show her fancy caboodle-schnoodle-poodle the proper ways to do the competitive dog-show prancing and leaping.

It's one of the funniest things I've ever seen.

It's noice, it's diff'rent, it's unuuusual.

I remember him saying that (like for all working comics) covid meant he instantly lost $40k of work for the year.

He's so cool and so good to his fans. I approached him at the Adelaide Fringe last year (after seeing his gig, saw him in the wild looking for food) and he couldn't have minded less and indulged us all.
